| Western Santa Barbara County, contiguous with the cool Pacific coast, is a natural habitat for high quality Sauvignon Blanc. Even so, Chardonnay plantings in Santa Barbara County out number those of Sauvignon Blanc by a factor of over 15 to 1. This wine was grown scarcely ten air miles from the Pacific shore giving it a perceptible tang of clean ocean air, lemongrass and a delightful mineral zest. |
